Over the years we’ve met hundreds of women — and what we’ve seen consistently are homes in disorder, marriages under strain, hearts heavy with exhaustion, and women struggling to navigate parenting. Women who are simply tired, and often feel alone in all the chaos.

It was in the midst of this reality that we heard God whisper: “Help My daughters slow down. Help them refocus. Help them return to Me.”

Somewhere along the way, many of us traded intimacy with God for productivity, rest for responsibility, and peace for the hustle. We bought into the lie that busyness equals success.

We’re Nikki Trout and Samantha Capstick — both married moms of three, who met in 2018 on some dusty baseball sidelines.

Through our own struggles — Nikki’s daughter’s cancer diagnosis, Samantha’s journey as a teen mom — we discovered the power of faith, resilience, and women truly showing up for each other.

That journey led us to leave our jobs and build Aligned Mommas, the Aligned Mommas Community, and Aligned Mommas Missions — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We poured our hearts, our tears, and our testimonies into every page of this planner.
